Backline for Bands is the boutique sister company to Vans for Bands, who are well established as one of the largest providers of splitter vans for the music industry in Europe. Our focus is to provide a competitive “one stop shop” to foreign bands touring the UK, whereby a van can be provided already loaded with the required backline. We also dry hire equipment for sleeper bus and production tours or for one off events.

We don't stock every bit of equipment under the sun, but we do provide a selection of the most commonly requested items by touring bands, and by focusing on providing a core backline inventory hand in hand with vehicle hire, we are able to substantially cut the cost to hirers.

Although many of our clients are now very well known, the company’s principal raison d’etre is to provide a viable rental solution for artists touring on a budget. And to carve out our niche as a financially viable alternative to the big names in backline hire each quote is worked through with the artist in question to try and provide a solution, even to those who are touring on a shoestring.
